We look at the fascinating story about how 'Heat' developed from an original script by Mann which he first truncated to make a TV movie called 'LA Takedown' and then reinstated the full script for the eventual filming of 'Heat'. It’s famous for a 10-minute gun battle and a café confrontation between Al Pacino and Robert De Niro.
