THE RINGS OF POWER (2022)
Producers: J. D. Payne and Patrick McKay for the streaming service Prime Video
Directors: Waune Yip, J.A Bayona, Charlotte Brändström
Music by: Felix Erskine (trailer) Howard Shore and Bear McCreary for TV series (YES!!) or just a rumour
Strapline: A grand journey is defined by its travelers. The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power arrives September 2, 2022.
Amazon bought the television rights for The Lord of the Rings for US$250 million in November 2017, making a five-season production commitment worth at least US$1 billion. This would make it the most expensive television series ever made.
It’s still six months away from transmission but the marketing campaign is extensive, world-wide and already in full swing. We look at the trailers and the amazing series of character posters.
